Esther did not stop.
She didn’t care whether he survived or not. She arrived at the bus station, got on, and the bus started moving. Sitting on the bus, Esther smiles. She was free now. The babies had left. She could go back to being a kid, resume her work in nightclubs, meet men and make a lot of money. The clouds were getting thicker .
