Hospitals are places where time rarely feels slow. The corridors are constantly filled with movement—doctors rushing toward emergencies, nurses updating charts, families waiting anxiously for news that could change everything. In a place like that, even a few seconds can carry enormous weight.
My father has worked in that hospital for many years as a nurse. Among the staff he’s known for something that can’t be taught in textbooks: a calm presence that steadies the room during chaos. No matter how intense the situation becomes, he keeps his voice quiet and his hands steady, and patients seem to trust him almost instantly.
